Ellia turns 1!

We opened presents...Which Adalei had to help with...
Justyna was there for the graduation weekend, so she got to be there for the birthday party- yeah! This was probably her favorite toy of the day- a cookie monster with a mouth that flopped open and said phrases like, "cookie, cookie" burp!

She loved the cake, but hated the birthday hats! She is very sensitive to changes and didn't like everyone wearing the hats.

But she got over the hats when we handed her a chocolate cake (Grayson's idea). Adalei didn't like getting dirty and was prissy about her cake, but Ellia went to town and loved it!
she massaged it, ate it, threw it, and kissed it (if that is possible!) I can't believe she is one years old!! Happy Birthday to my sweet baby girl!

Grayson's Graduation

Grayson with Grandma and Grandpa Schenk

The night before graduation, we went to a dinner just for pharmacy. Grayson's grandfather, who graduated from the pharmacy school in 1949, was able to be there to give him the pharmacy oath. It was a sweet moment, especially since his grandpa was on hospice about 6 months ago and we never dreamed he would be able to be there!
Graduation!

Around town...

Feeding the geese and ducks at the River walk in down town Idaho Falls
Adie was scared, those geese are pretty fearless!

Adie basically hung out with Ewok, one of the outside cats the Schenk's have. Any second she got she ran outside and petted and talked and ran around with her- what an animal lover!

Bear World

Norm and Claudia took us to Bear World (on your way to Yellowstone). We weren't sure what to expect, except to see bears and were so surprised by how fun it was! They had a petting zoo, viewing area of the baby bears and you could alternately pet (SO CUTE!), fish feeding area, rides, and food!
This deer totally gave Norm a huge wet kiss on the face, which we thought was ironic since he is the major hunter of the group!

Petting the baby bears...awwww....
Grandma and Grandpa Schenk with the girls....

A albino elk (weird!)
Petting turkeys
The bear ride, there was seriously like 25 bears within a mile that were all hanging out watching the cars go by

Feeding a swan- that sucker is BIG!

Our "Bear" family!

Easter

We painted eggs at home, but celebrated Easter in Idaho. Norm surprised the girls by having two baby bunnies and two baby turkeys running around the living room when the girls got back from Church. That is why there is no candy pictures, because Adie wouldn't put the bunnies down! In fact, Gray told her she could have one after we get a house so she reminds him daily, "house and then bunny- hurry up Dad!"

Adie didn't like the turkeys, but Ellia ran all around the front room chasing them. There were pretty tame, so they would run just right in front of her which she loved! We got sick of them fast because they wanted to poop every 5 seconds.

Painted eggs...and hands....and faces....

Stimpson Visit

Our good friends the Stimpson's visited us and we had such a blast! Tahoe was probably our favorite outing, it was so gorgeous we all got sunburn bad!

These two Mallard ducks really wanted to tease Ellia and get a bite to eat. She wore herself out chasing them all over the beach.
BJ's BBQ- Yum!!
Best pic ever! Thanks for coming- we loved the late night talks- and missing you already!
