Happy Fourth! and more...

I put together a towel cabinet some friends of ours gave us for free! The girls ripped up the Styrofoam and exclaimed, "It's snowing!" It was cute until I tried to vacumn it up and the white beads flew everywhere.
We went to a local park to watch the fireworks from the Nugget, it was kind of far away but was fine since Ellie would have freaked if we were really close.
Adalei makes weird faces now when I try to take her pics...

We opened presents...Which Adalei had to help with...
Justyna was there for the graduation weekend, so she got to be there for the birthday party- yeah!This was probably her favorite toy of the day- a cookie monster with a mouth that flopped open and said phrases like, "cookie, cookie" burp!


She loved the cake, but hated the birthday hats! She is very sensitive to changes and didn't like everyone wearing the hats.

But she got over the hats when we handed her a chocolate cake (Grayson's idea). Adalei didn't like getting dirty and was prissy about her cake, but Ellia went to town and loved it!
she massaged it, ate it, threw it, and kissed it (if that is possible!) I can't believe she is one years old!! Happy Birthday to my sweet baby girl!

The night before graduation, we went to a dinner just for pharmacy. Grayson's grandfather, who graduated from the pharmacy school in 1949, was able to be there to give him the pharmacy oath. It was a sweet moment, especially since his grandpa was on hospice about 6 months ago and we never dreamed he would be able to be there!

Adie was scared, those geese are pretty fearless!

Adie basically hung out with Ewok, one of the outside cats the Schenk's have. Any second she got she ran outside and petted and talked and ran around with her- what an animal lover!

Bear World

Norm and Claudia took us to Bear World (on your way to Yellowstone). We weren't sure what to expect, except to see bears and were so surprised by how fun it was! They had a petting zoo, viewing area of the baby bears and you could alternately pet (SO CUTE!), fish feeding area, rides, and food!
This deer totally gave Norm a huge wet kiss on the face, which we thought was ironic since he is the major hunter of the group!
